Metal Gear Solid 3 HD: Snake Eater playthrough pt30

This is my playthrough of the HD Remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
NOTE: I never played this game when it was first released so this is my first shot at the game.

When you started the game, you selected "I like MGS3" which signalled to the game that you'd already experienced the game and new what to expect. This disabled a number of codec calls that would come up to give tips on new locations and situations; which in part resulted missing out on doing the scientist sneaking section properly, and not being warned that there would be traps ahead and getting run throughs on what's going down.

I dunno if this happened to any of you, when we played it for the first time, it was straight at Hard and we had no idea what to expect and we managed to save in the middle of the fight with The End cause it took forever. then we stopped playing the game and 3 months later there were the cutscene where Snake found the old man dead and we never got a better explanation than, he died in the 3 months! Has it ever happenned to you can anyone explain what really happened?

@DamienElMaskador What really happened is he died of old age. Somewhere in the game, they tell you that when you save and quit, Snake is sleeping. So basically, you had Snake sleeping for 3 months and The End was waiting so long that he died of old age before the battle finished.

I think it only takes a week for that to happen, though.

@iamsmert123 I also was stealthy, always took him from behind, and he never gor a shot at me... Hes camo is great, but against therminal gogles it's useles.;-)

@iamsmert123 Yea it's a Dick move... And Snake even feel's bad for it, But it's funny if you look the right way at it and also it's a Easy way if you really don't want to spend a long time on this. Personlay i think it took me about 20-30 min the first time.
