  • i was in the same he was when he died on the same day i heard about it and it was crazy i never thought anyone would even be able to climb those cliffs.....fair play to him.......what a legend

  • I knew Michael 7th-10th grade in Chatham,NY ..what a great guy he was. I had always wondered what he was up to only to find he was gone from all our lives. He will be missed..Class pictures on Facebook: Julie Rochester Pietrak

  • Just want to shout out to Michael saying that he's an inspiration to all. He was amazing. Great video. Truly an amazing guy.

  • Urgh. I'd just today found Michael Reardon's website freesoloist and noticed that it hadn't been updated in a while. I read most of the site and was highly impressed by all of it. and then I found out that he died and christ what a shame

  • rest in peace Mr. Reardon

  • My prayers are that God give Marci and Nikki the strength to endure. Mike is the best friend a person could have. Mike has touched the lives of so many people by his kind heart and willingness to engage everyone on any level. We should all strive to enhance these qualities amongst each other. Each day represents what will one day become our legacy. How do you want to be remembered? I know what Mike meant to me and I here to say his positive legacy is firmly intact. hope for peopl

  • mike you were so loved, you had a huge heart. When mike asked you how you were doing, he meant it, he had a genuine interest in people and he never hesitated to talk to anyone or listen to anyone.

  • Our prayers are with you Marci and Nikki.

Save some First Ascents for us up there Michael.
