An 8-year-old male Bornean orangutan at Zoo Atlanta became the first member of his species to participate in an awake cardiac ultrasound. The procedure was performed by sonographers from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. (Feb. 2)

@AK74inCali Don't say this too loud, some politicians may listen toy ou and cut funding for zoos. After all, they are educational (you may learn something after a visit), rather low cost entertainment and not allowing the richer to get even more rich (so can't be a good business). Best to get people on the couch looking a zombie-making TV programs.

Well, thank goodness an orangutan gets healthcare. It's not like we have American children that need cardiac ultrasounds. It's all about the cute sick monkey in the cage, right?

I just started towatch this video and all I can say is. We had better start treating everything like we would treat ourselves. Because this sends a ripple effect to the universe on how you see and love everything. In my opinion, this is why outside intervention was attracted. i.e. This is how you want to be treated in the universe. I will not abuse, and do not want to be abused. Do you get it?
