And this DESPITE 400 plus years of raping, hanging, degradation, psychological battering, a society positioned firmly AGAINST us, complete disenfranchisement, no judicial protection, economic ostracization, racially mocked, scorned, ridiculed, caricatured, slandered, and denied basic human rights. NOw imagine if you remove these things from the equation? Imagine a society that is structured to MAXIMALLY develop black people like AMerikkka was structured to maximally develop whites?

This is why we-black people that is- MUST immedialy discharge and dispose of any notion of a white "savior" and discard any notion of a white "son of god" or that whiteness is divine. IF, as black people, we associate skin whiteness with divinity, then what is blackness? For any black person attribute divinity to skin whiteness is the ultimate form of Self-rejection. Because the corollary logic is if the so called son of god is a white man, then SUpreme being must be white.

Thank you Professor Akbar - I'm a black woman that loves me some black men but as one told me last night we are not submissive and apologetic enough. Funny, I've submitted to him more than any other man in my life but when you need someone else to validate who you are as a person, you're already in trouble. @ThisAintMyJob Irish immigrants were especially hostile to blacks as they reveled in he fact that there was a group of people with lower status than them, so they thought. Not to mention, the deep south consisted mostly of Irish descendants. That is where the southern drawl and the shortened dialect came from. This isn't to say that the Irish are our enemies now, but they were a part of the system of oppression.

3) Not all white people descend from oppressors. I, for example, am 2nd generation Irish, and many of my ancestors were also slaves to the British. That said, do not generalize white people.

4) Calling white people "flawed evil, wicked devil, reptilian like half-humans" does not undo any of the terrible things white people have done. It also sinks to their level, allowing racists to feel victimized by comments like yours and say, "See, they are racist against us too! It's a war!"

@moemuzikk I was referred here for my African American Psychology class and just have a few quick points:

1) White people aren't a mutation. Early African hominids, or australopithekus (sp?), travelled to Europe and Asia, undergoing climate change and concurrently underwent natural adaptation. This is the reason "white people" have slightly lower melanin -- in other words, white skin -- than "black people" do.

2) Lots of white people have done evil things. That said, so have black people.
