1)Actually, the AWD is good for acceleration & cornering as well as weight transferring in some cars.
2)Power is power, no matter how it's made & turbocharging is the easiest way to get power & TQ, of which Honda cars have short in supply.
3)When you put slicks on a car, it's no longer in stock form :)
4)The ECU needs to be tuned or replaced in an all-motor car as well. Everything needed to run such an engine would be out of the ECU's monitoring range. I know. I had an "all-motor" EJ22 DOHC.
@HondAcurategra Its the internals too; but anyway Supra is a fine choice; if you're looking to start racing get one; cause Honda aint gonna cut it unless its a S2000 or NSX
@HondAcurategra a lot of these dudes that talk big with 500HP civics just slap massive turbos thinking its cool; its the only way to get a Honda to 500HP generally; but that only lasts for a couple months; people even do it to mustangs; I knew a guy who twin turboed a saleen and ended up blowing the motor after a month of installation. Otherwise if you are talking N/A tune thats fine but Naturally aspirated say a K20 will not exceed beyond 400HP; S15s and Supras are monster both sports cars
@Harutmakina only stupid ppl would just go and boost a motor. the ecu needs to be tune, becuase all the performance has change and it keeps telling ur car to run the smae, making ur car's life end faster.
@Harutmakina See, bro as an engineer I could tell you that a lot of thse stupid punks that get 500HP from a B18c or K20 have no idea what they're doing; thats why they blow the engines quite often; anything beyond 7 psi any of these will destroy your engine; because the engine is not made for forced induction; otherwise it would have a factory turbo charger; to reliably turbo a Honda you have to seal the block change bushings pistons rods heads, crank, cam,; decompress then turbo; 10 grand total
@HondAcurategra Because dragsters are built for drag racing; the 15000HP engine would break the drive drain if it was AWD; also it would not work to benefit traction because the car's shape is really narrow and long. But for street cars drag racing, AWD has an advantage; that being said; I know you're young and excited about cars and I could tell you get alot of your info from the media; but putting a turbo charger on a N/A honda engine will reduce your engine life to 6 months;

@Harutmakina in a honda im not looking for any turbo, it'll be all motor only. a turbo car that i actually want is either a silvia, or a supra.

@Harutmakina i dont know much bout dragster, so i'll agree on that one.

@Harutmakina if 4wd is really tat good, than why are the dragsters only use rwd and runing 4-5s?
