Tool- 1991 rare sober demo audio

This here be the original version of tools "sober", recorded for the demo tape 72826(which means "satan" on a phone pad") from 1991 these tapes sell for hundreds on ebay and rarely come around so i just thought i'd help out tool fans a bit, if you have any questions tell me.

Dammit! THIS is why i like youtube! i didn't even know this demo existed! thank you for music sharing! artists should be paid so they can live and survive but music should be a part of our universal consciousness so theres a thin line...

anyway..imho when bands are playing new songs that they KNOW are freakin goodness, they play them with an unparralled intensity that can't be redone, even by the artists...so glad i found this...

I agree on the topic that bootlegging isnt fair to the artists but you have to understand that this isnt a commercial demo, there were only a couple hundred made and its nearly impossible to find one so its appropriate in this case.

That song is by maynard's previous band Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty. It's not quite the same song but shares some of the lyrics with sober and has a similar basic melody.

This is beautiful! I love the album version, but this has an intensity that finds its way higher. It's almost romantic.
