@240252 In the early 20ths they recorded accoustly and so the banjo was more in the foreground than when they recorded with microphones. Mike Pingiatore was the banjoplayer of Whiteman. In later years he played mostly guitar. I like almost all the Witheman recordings and his good taste of choosing his band members.
