This is a means of coercion. The government tells you "oh you don't have to give us these abilities, you just won't have a job if you don't. So you see nobody is forcing you to do this. It's all completely voluntary."

My impression of the interviewers ignorant thoughts during this interview: "Gee Congressman Paul what is sooo invasive about the government having the ability to scan the veins in the back of my hand to obtain my personal info? And of course when the government has an opportunity to gain power they always use it only for good and never try to expand that power. It's so interesting to hear your arguments against this Dr. Paul being that they have no historical merit."

What??? We already have a Drivers License, Social Security card and/or Passport or just regular identification!!! All they have to do, is enforce the laws that are already in place!!! But instead, they want to make MORE laws, which in turn just takes away more of our freedoms. What a shame!

I will NEVER carry a National ID card. We already have one. It is called a Social Security card. The main opposition to Social Security card in the first place was that it would become a national ID card.
