you hair feels softer because of the ammonia and other bleach that they use to "lift" your natural color and "deposit" the color you want. In effect you are STRAIGHTENING your hair with a colr chemical. You have natural texture but you are NOT natural any more. Coloring without a natural product like henna ensures that your hair will be dry if you don't maintain it properly. that shea butter will only do so much, but it will not keep your ends from drying out :-(

Shalom Sis, Now that your natural you don't have to clip your ends so often,(As long as you maintain the rigth amount of moisture.)I would say clip them every 3 or 4 months it depends on your hair texture. Well Sister have a blessed one.... That's what I do my natural clients here in V.a.
