Of course it's not bio-available when it's in the container/box. The addition of iron filings to food is a common method of iron enrichment. The iron filings are not bio-available until they reach the stomach where they are oxidized to Fe3+. The oxidized form of Fe3+ is easily absorbed. Grow up!

I am watching this for the first time and this is absoeffing unbelievable!!!!!!! OH MY GOD! And WHY is okay to feed this to people?

You know, I'm gradually coming around to the 'let's nuke the earth' way of thinking. If this is real, then, well, maybe a fresh start is in order. More to the point, who, in the cornflake factory says 'I'll just dump this load of iron filings into this batch of cornflakes'. Yay for Mankind!!!
