  • Probably a RFID chip. RFID chips are being put into products at the manufacturing phase, so that it is physically in the product sort of like what you have. Supposedly its for logistical purposes to see the flow of merchandise to improve supply routes etc., but thats a complete crock. I've worked in retail and know how they can use the RFID chips without invading privacy. Bluntly, the RFID chips are going to be used to track people.

P.S. What brand and type pants?

  • The brand of pants was Dickies. I bought them at a flea arket type area. Wore them several times before finding the chip. These must have been uniforms. The company name and employees' names are on them.

  • unbelievable!!

  • i see an Lb ummmm (locator beacon)

  • Retailers really like to keep the RFID stuff quiet so that if they put it in the pants for over a year and people start to find out and question it and they can say "Oh well, we've been doing this for years already, what? You didn't know? Where have you been?!!!"

  • Also, what made you notice that object in the pants?
