Liked the "Chipper to Press" all-in-one construction,very neat. What were the blades on the cutter drum?: Looked very efficient ,without the "Jaws Invitation!"
Nice work! As a comment below says: No stuff flying out...that is down to hopper design...noting more. And chips are all we should be looking for I think.
Living in Chile: Some local stuff is rubbish but hoping to get up & running by nxt Autumn. Got new chipper(new drive) & ideas for press....contact me for photos!!

This seems like the best scratter here in YouTube. It's self-feeding, reasonably fast, and stuff isn't flying out. And the apple chips are moderately small.

1 question, is that a 10RPM gear box? it seems to work well.
