s500 to w580 tutorial ...cid53 FARmanager Part 2

Second part:

12) Once you've clicked "ok" after flashing the FS, now copy the MAIN witch is the file named: "W580_R8BE001_MAIN_NAM_1_LA_RED53" ....again a window should pop up and just click "COPY" ....another window will pop up and click "yeah, flash it". It will start flashing the MAIN witch is 460 blocks after its finished a small window will pop up and just click "ok".

13) After i finished flashing the MAIN, click on the 2 dots and it will ask you if you want to exit or if you are sure. Just click yes

14) Disconnect the phone, take the battery out and put it back in. Turn on the phone (it might not turn on the first time you try). A window will say "wait" or "espere". When it turns on and the options normal or flight mode will apear. select normal. It will say that there is an error and to call your service provider, just turn it off. (dont have the SIM inserted)

15) Go back to FARmanager and press F11 (your last selected configuration will stay) o click "jump down into a large rabbit-hole" and connect your phone the same way you did the first time: press and hold "C" and connect the usb cable.

16) Now open "ofs" and let it load.

17) Then open tpa/ preset/ ...and inside preset the folder "custom" should be there. For now leave it there

18) On the right side of the screen look for the custom folder that came with the FS and MAIN, unrar it (in windows explorer) . Drag it on top of the 2 dots on the left side of the FAR window, this way it will replace the custom folder already in the preset folder. Copy it form right to left.

19) When finished copying the custom folder, keep clicking on the 2 dots until it asks you if you want to exit, do so.

20) Disconnect the phone, take the battery out, put the SIM in and now the battery. Turn it on and select normal, it will start up....and there you go

Now you have turned your s500 into a w580.

how can i unlock my simlock in s500i with cid 53 is there any software for this model or should i put w580 firmware into my s500 first and then do a simlock patch for it ?

one question..i have the w580 and i want to debrand it (to be able to put any sim) will i be able to do it if i paste the exact same firmware of the w580? .. so if i flash the w580 with the same firmware (that i will download) it will be free to any sim? no restrictions?

...but did the phone work ok?

as long as it works you shouldnt worry if the files appear or not

.....if it doesnt work, try putting the custom folder in again a few times until it works

great tutorial but at last when i copied the custom folder far manager copies successfully but the files didn't appear on the left side in custom folder

(i copied the files in correct folder)

only to a s500, but there isn't really any good reason to convert the w580 to another phone.

the s500 is converted to a w580 because you get the walkman player and make it look unique.

You made one of the worst mistakes, on flashing your phone with another cid......try flashing/"updating" it with the service updater

..... let me know if it works :)

i need help... i flash my s500 cid53 with a w580 cid52 ..now my phone is ruined ....i tried with farmanager but its says error..when i add the fs or main...please help..should i use the service update?? how to do so...

Consejo:

si solo quieren el walkman saltense el paso del fs y solo pongan el main asi tendran las funciones fs y modelo s500 pero con walkman.
