  • Form D's can authorize a tc to pass mulitiple stop signals without stopping or obtaining further permission.

  • the work truck was for NORAC rule 241, A rule 241 a move that is only authorized by the Amtrak dispatcher, I am not sure how MOW moves take place around the rest of the country but on the NEC trains would only get a good signal, This MOW truck needs to call into AM dispatch VIA radio to request a 241 at every signal and junction, its just another way to keep the rails safe.
