Seriously Injured Workers Dan & John talk about fighting WorkSafe B.C pt 2

Dan Malanfant while working on Brent Kelly Farms was blown off a roof back in 2006 after his boss Brent Kelly hit it with a fork lift loosening the roofs covering. A gust of wind hit the edge of the roof blowing the roof and Dan to the ground below. Dan landed on concert and crushed his Pelvis in multiple regions, he also had a burst Fx of L1, Transverse process fractures of L3,L4 and L5 (T1 decompressive laminectomy, thoracolumbar fushion T11-L3.
These are just a few of Dans multiple WorkSafe B.C claim injuries.
We are finding a pattern with seriously injured workers, and the system needs to be changed before more people die..

workers compensation in Canada is medical fraud, insurance racketeering; Injured Canadians are literally being dicriminated, and harassed. due to suffering work injuries; I need an operation that is $55,000 dollars and wcb sask is dening me help; This operation is only a 1 hr surgery, and could possible relieve my severe chronic pain; 4 ortho surgeons and 3 neurosurgeons in sask failed for 5 yesrs to diagnose this injury; in 2006 i suspected this injury and wcb denyed me the test to diagnose!

@FIXWCBCANADA Yes just like hear in B.C, WorkSafe B.C treats SIW like criminals.. I needed major back surgery due to my work accident and had to use the health care system to get the surgery. 1 year 5 months later my 2 herniated discs in my lower spine were accepted by WCAT , now 6 months later I wait for a denial letter from Worksafe B.C...

Me again. Are you going to form a group because I want to join? The employer works with WorkSafe, WorkSafe with the employer, and both work with Disabiltiy Insurance groups.

I am at the point of demanding justice or letting them know if I do not get a just settlement, and my employer found liable for fraud, I WILL get revenge if I cannot get justice in this system. Let them take that THREAt TO WHATEVER COURT THEY WANT AND THEN THEY will be exposed.

I have given up on getting any benefits from WCB aAlberta - they have the legislation rigged in their favor - 10 years no progress. I have decided to extract my pound of flesh from these corrupt "Medical Consultants" I have been encouraging people to go to RATEMDs to rate these so called medical proffessionals who write disparaging reports about injured workers for a fee - Telling the truth about them will ensure that the WCB is their only source of Income - just like the rest of us.

Yes, these appeals eat up all your time an energy; and it is incredible the amount of appeals you have going on all at once. Its amazing U are as together and organized as U appear to b. Wonder if we cud just set a day, place, and time and whoever can show up. Somewhere in Vancouver...even if it is just to btch at first it wud be OK.

Your short little comment caught my eye. You are in good company as there are a lot of us who are FKED @ by the scum that is the decompensation board. There is strength in numbers so when U feel crappy just come and watch these videos and read some more comments and kno that any day now WorkSafe might implode.
