Cecilia Manguerra Brainard

Philippine American author, Cecilia Manguerra Brainard, talks about her writing, Philippine American literature in particular the collection, Growing Up Filipino, and she gives advise to aspiring writers. A multi-award author, she teaches at UCLA Extension's Writers Program. She had been an adjunct professor at USC. She was born in Cebu City, Philippines and attended schools in Cebu, Manila and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
