Next time I see Stern I'm spiting in his face.
He's lucky he hasn't gotten assulted by a pissed off Seattle fan.

Not to mention, that the University of Washington has won a national championship, and their men's basketball team a few years back were a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament, and if weren't for Hamilton's basket in 1999,
they would of been in the Final Four. Also, a few miles east of Seattle, there is little college that is becoming a basketball powerhouse in Gonzaga! If this doesn't classify Seattle as a sports town garnergentry, then there is something wrong with you.

garnergentry, if you think Seattle is a crappy sports town, think again. The Seahawks have been in the playoffs every year since 2003, with an NFC title in '05. The Mariners have 3 AL West crowns and a wild card and still are a contender in the AL West. The Sonics have been to three NBA Finals appearances and have been a playoff participant through most of the late '70s to the early '00s. Also, Seattle has a Stanley Cup, which they won in 1918 as the PCHL's Metropolitans!

You know what iamthebyron, I don't speak out a lot on here, but you are way out of line! I've lived in Oklahoma my entire life, and for you to say that all were known for is a tragedy. That's pretty below the belt if you ask me. Don't let some poor example like garnergentry be the deciding factor for the people of Oklahoma. That would just be in poor taste. Have a nice day.

KidIcarus (dig the name, BTW): Sorry if I offended, but the bombing is probably the first thing that most people think of when they hear "Oklahoma City." My other points about why it'd be a bad move for the NBA stand. OKC is a smaller media market (~1.2 million vs. ~3.2) and has a big Asian population. If David Stern is serious about expanding to China, Seattle is a city where the NBA should keep a presence. And it's a BIG knife in the back of a city that's supported the NBA for over 40 years.
