@57highland That is a good line as well; I had to go back and forth with that button to catch what I did & get those lyrics correctly (at least I hope I did) Shakespeare; I have a very limited knowledge of things Shakespearean; I remember the oneliners I like though and he did have a lot. The two that come to mind: 1. Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? and 2. If music be the food of love, play on. My biggest brush w/S was "Dead Poets' Society" - loved it!
@gva0917 I thought you'd quote "Romeo and Juliet are together in eternity" as your favorite lyrics. They're MY favorites, even though I'm not a big Shakespeare fan!
This is a FANTASTIC song. I love the lyrics "... here but now they're gone.... "come on baby, don't fear the reaper...." "...baby I'm your man!" This song knocks me out; I love it so much. God, I love the truth in the words. Live your life the best way possible for we are only squatters upon this earth. Thank you so much for this post.
The original. Anyone still have the original album? One of the classics from a time when people spent as much time studying the ablum cover as the lyrics.
@gva0917 Also from R&J is the line: "What's in a name? A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet."
