@kinetiknz over-the original answer in the style of "Bring yourself first."
Of course your work is impressive. But I can even to some extent a shame that someone with such talent spends his time creating models, semantic load which tends to zero. Those who are not familiar with F1 hardly pay attention to the model of the NCR President whom they had not even heard of. But do you model of F1 and a lot of game fans would express to you my deep gratitude.
I can only say this.

That's why not make the same detailed model Tandi from the first Fallout?

That's why not make an equally detailed models of the Tandy Fallout. Such a model would be much appreciated above. And the old school would be delighted.

Kinetiknz thank you very much again!, Took me many questions I had, I will look at the xnormal, when I finish my low poly model I'll show you! Greetings from Argentina!

@sebastianez Hey Sebastianez, The entire body is just one mesh. getting clean edges between the jacket and body wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. RE: Normals, I would create them from Zbrush/Mudbox as a first go, if you have nay problems at that stage, use xNormal. It's a fantastic program. I use it for baking things regularly. Do check out UV layout also, its amazing for quickly getting good UV's on characters. Good luck! post me when you put up a vid of your character
Tandy? Damn! Do you even played Fallout 1?

@kinetiknz friend, if you could you create a Tandy of what it was in Fallout, I was ready to kiss you. But I look at "it" and do not understand why is it wasting your time.

@TheRedOpium I bothered spending my time making it to learn Bodypaint and Mudbox. It is based on the concept art for Fallout3, not from the Fallout 1 character. If you are frustrated by a perceived lack of quality, feel free to produce your own Tandy and post a link to it here. We will enjoy seeing it. Thanks

Hey, I can't really reccomend any tut's, I use Maya for mdoelling, shading etc, but I have used Bodypaint (cinema4D) alot and it is superb. The renderer is good too. It gets a bit slow when using high poly models though. One cool thing it can do is display normal maps so you can paint over the 'virtual' detail. If your'e just getting started, then work on your modelling, then UV's and texturing
