Obama Power Grab to Control the Census

The Census is conducted by the Dept. of Commerce, but not in an Obama Adminstration! He wants to have Rahm Emmanuel ESTIMATE the number of people instead of following the Constitution and COUNTING people. This involves redistricitng, the Electoral College, and even Welfare distribution.

Great video but your conclusions are incorrect. Article 1 section 2 gives congress the authority to make the laws requiring the census. Congress can only make, not enforce laws. The power to enforce laws are given to the Executive Branch (Obama) (Article 2). The Department of Commerce is not a constitutionally created entity and exists at the President's discretion and directly under Obama's authority. He is not grabbing more power, only exercising his constitutional derived authority.

Legal scholars claim this to be unconstitutional and a power grab by the executive branch. You can parse words, but the people who watch videos usually don't have a whole lot of time - it need to be quick and to the point because everyone is very busy. Your comment, in a video, would be confusing. The key is to keep it simple and use key phrases that are easy to catch on to.

Obama clearly appointed Gregg as a ploy to gain another senate seat. He is a strong conservative from a liberal state. He will undoubtedly be replaced by a dem or a lib repub in the future. Thankfully Gregg saw through obama's ploy and turned him down. Obama also let the census stuff leak before Gregg was installed so that this would force Gregg to back down on principle. So...Obama looks bipartisan and doesn't have to have a Conservative in the Commerce Dept. Just another obama media play

It's amazing to me that after their boys pulled off the greatest extra-Constitutional executive power grab in US history (with his majesty the dark lord Chaney trying to claim even more power) - spending us into a gigantic hole in the process - that our friends on the right now have their little knickers all in a twist about a census that has happened every 10 years since 1790 and is mandated in the Constitution.

I hate to say it but when has the costituion ever stoped an unconstitutional law or act by government? It's a pick and choose thing. And when they get the next constitutional convention to change everything to make everything legal. And finally remove those pesky 1st and 2nd ammendments.
