The artist/ activist poetica came up with a tune during her and her former bands sound check for performances thruout new york city and choose to develop visuals to the work in progress studio recording due to the songs relevence to what she learned is a not so uncommon reality of many in new york and countless individuals in the country; over 13 million whose inpoverished status is no laughing matter yet the song and PSA contains light hearted humor including photos of the less fortunte with signs to sum up there condition. Editor David Joes and co editor Poetica credit Google for the use of the imagery and weinart.org for there popular compaign poster which poetica raps from behind which asks people to put themselves in the shoes of the homeless in order to understand the plight.
