The 442nd save more than 200 men of the 36th Texas Battalion. The 442nd lost more than 800 men to save them.

The General orders a Regimental Review of the 442nd. When the Regiment passes the General turns to the 442nd comander and says: I ordered the entire Regiment to pass and review. The Colonel replied with tears running down his cheeks: Sir! this is all that is left of the 442nd.

@billy1212ist no other race in the USA at that time were recruited from prison camps to fight that's a fact! Your jealousy is obvious, the Japanese Americans proved their loyalty as good Americans and became the most decorated battalion of WW2. I doubt your race would have fought out of prison camps, and I already know what your race is by your ignorance and hatred!

A WHITE AMERICAN,7th of 12 children,both parents dead,at 17 years old,5'5'',and 110 pounds,from Texas.Audie L.Murphy,joined the Army.He went on to be the Most Highly Decorated Soldier of WWII,with The Medal of Honor,and many many other awards from two other Countries.A white guy.There were also many like him,brave and honorable men.They were NOT like YOU.

This video doesn't serve as an inspiration for just Japanese-Americans, but all Asian-Americans who wish to serve for our country.

@keiweak What made the men of 442nd special, was their Bravery, Sacrifice and to prove to those that Downed on them, because they werent White (Racism was well known during WWII) that the Nisei are Americans and they proved that they are Americans with their blood.
