Going home is a short documentary style film, produced by Trucker Steve. http://www.truckersteve.com After spending a long time from home, i was inspired to make this film. It is really hard to be away from your family. People who travel for a living can relate with how i feel. I made this documentary to hopefully show those out there that are not familiar with the trucking lifestyle how hard it truly is. Welp, I reckon im one of the lucky ones because my fiance is loaded and doesnt have to work so she comes with me on trips and the only other family I have are ma and pa. and to be honest, they love it when im gone heheh keep truckin bud

That is a realy good video. I just got done with my trucking school, and passed my cdl yesterday.I am taking a bus to iowa from Pittsburgh were I am from,next saturday to go to orientation. I have two boys, and a little girl.I just want to do on the road for some experience than get a local gig.Im a little nervous, do you have any advice?

your lucky you have a job, Im 53 years old I have never been out of work in the 30 plus years I have been working in A/C & Refrigeration. I live in Florida, out of work now 6 months and counting. Unemployment is through the roof!!!

I`m lucky I suppose, I get home every night and do 12 hours max but the roads are crowded....thats island living ;-)

Yes,normal,hard working people can make better movies then all those hollywood movie makers.I'm van driver from Poland...2-3 weeks on the road each time.This vid speaks about me too.Thank you Steve.
