we had to create a movie trailer for english on the book "the bell jar"
To answer everyone's questions...
- Yes, we did read the book
- The song used in here is "You're Beautiful" by Paul Wright
- No, none of us have every been depressed (clearly)
- This was meant to be a fun project...unfortunately it was on a somewhat depressing subject
This video is meant in no way to disrespect Sylvia Plath or any of her work. Since making this video I've read six books on her life and understand the tragedy behind her brilliance.

It's awesome that you got to read this for English class. The problem with schools today is they don't give the students anything they want to read. God forbid they should read something interesting like Kerouac, Bukowski, or Plath....

yep. I'd like to see some young people like these re-do this viceo after they've REALLY experienced depression, and can film themselves downing that bottle of pills in a truly BELIEVABLE way...hope they never can.
