1996 Kirby G4 Vacuum LIKE NEW!!

This is the Kirby G4 that I used to have. It was given to me by a family friend! Lucky me, huh? Notice that the square decal is missing on the front of the beltlifter. I traded it in for a Kirby G5, which is now in parts that I have salvaged in my attic upstairs. Enjoy!

@TheyCrawlOnWalls grating noise? you must be referring to the transmission. Yes it is normal due to the fact it's out of a G3 Kirby :/

Hey it makes some scary noise when you turn it off. do you know what it is?

One or two of the nuts located behind the bearing plate behind the fan were missing and there are four nuts that hold four screws in place to secure the bearing plate. Therefore it made a sort of screetching noise when I cut the motor off.

My g5 does the exact same thing when you shut it off. I rescued it from the presbyterian church, it just sat by the furnace for 13 years and maybe used five times

Hi, could you please post a video of how to use the G4 when using the shampoo cleaner. I have all the attachments but lost the manual and video it came with- it was quite a long time ago! Thanks.
