  • "Everybody is the same color with lights off" I love this line....

  • Jesse sang in our wedding 20 years ago and he gave everyone goose bumps back then.

His voice is his god-given talent and we will see you in the finals Jesse!

  • THE NEXT JAVIER.

  • @footballstud1408 Actually Jesse and Lindsey Pavao are both on Christina's team(:

  • @Juniversal you still have little point. You even admitted they sound alike. He still is one of the biggest reality show winner failures ever, this is fact, not sunjective opinion, so ha! he is unoriginal, and generic(sure, it's subjective but it's the best reasoning for his poor record sales, so I would call these words theory lol), the people who voted for him such as justin bieber fans answering to jb's request obviously diddn't care about him that much. and you diddn't answer my question.

  • sad that lindsey and jesse are on the same team and only one can go on to the finals. i could see them both winning it

  • @sTapleEVA...lol you clearly don't know what subjective means. Also I asked what albums sounded similar that were released around the same time (meaning early 2000's). Musiq, Maxwell and Brian Mcknight are acceptable answers because stylistically their albums have similarities (especially Musiq) and had albums released around the same time.

Fyi, (since you seem to be confused) I was referring to his R&B albums released years ago (Javier and Left Of Center). Not his post "the Voice" music.

  • @Juniversal try: Brian Mcknite(almost identical), Miguel(that smoothness), luther vandross, bruno mars(especially when he over sings), usher(also almost identical), maxwell, Musiq Soulchild, and many less popular people. So not a subjective opinion. Name one talented (not generically talented like say justin bieber who plays 3 piano cords) artist who had an advanced record deal/marketing and sold little.Javier was one of the biggest failures ever for reality show winners along with that lee guy

  • Hey christina, evrybody's the same color with the lights off. LMAO!!!! XD

  • Christina: I'll take you to the top.

    Blake: *cough* *cough* Bullcrap! *cough*

    LMAO!

  • @sTapleEVA....your first sentence is nothing but your completely subjective opinion. Nothing more. Nothing less. Humor me. Name an album it sounded like released around the same time.

Also I would say editorial reviews would be a much better means to a appropriately asses an albums quality then purely sales. Talented artist getting overlooked is not new. Even if they do have an "advanced record deal".

  • @Juniversal hahaha javiers work was cheesy, corny, sounded like litteraly every other R&B album, ect. by definition, he is a cookie cutter artist. I don't define artists by their record sales, but when they have an advanced record deal like he does, and are constantly being marketed, and people STILL don't buy it, i think it's safe to say it's simply because there is nothing special about it.
