Halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach is Hallandale. We were lucky enough to stay at our friend's condo on the 35th floor overlooking the ocean and the city. This is fifty five minutes of video compressed down to one minute. Shot with Sony HDR CX550v - After Effects / Premier Pro CS5

  • Hey Drew - what settings did you use on the CX550V ? Manual or autofocus? scene? low or regular lux? Any AE or White shift? (I'm doing more tests of my focus problem)

  • @stevecrye I don't recall, I'm sorry. It was most likely in autofocus mode since the cam does a very good job in this situation. I might have used the twighlight/low light scene mode, but I don't recall, sorry.

  • Fantastic video! Thank you. I have added to my Favoriters. Ragards, Catalina

  • @TheCatalinalira Thanks Catalina! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • Hey there excellent video!

Stevecrye recommended me to your channel!

He started time lapse videos because of you and I did because of him! :-D

  • This is really good. Beautiful framing, "action", color! Your motor-pan - how do you get it to go so slow? The ones I see from the catalogs don't come close to this slow a slew rate; on the forums people talk about custom-made units. I've got to work on a cheap or zero-cost way to get a smooth pan for time-lapse. Kudos and Bravo!
