Supersire Mr. Prospector wins with authority in 1:09 flat. Mr. Prospector is the greatest extension of the Native Dancer sireline, and the most influential dirt track sire of all time. Along with Danzig, he has created the american agency for the great Spearmint, and his offspring include Gone West, Gulch, Forty-Niner, Miswaki, and Seeking The Gold. Mr. Prospector is a broodmare sire of Mineshaft and Rock Hard Ten. With the above mentioned sons, he has also stamped himself as a sire of sires.

one has to ask who was the most important stallion of last century
was it northern dancer,mr prospector or.......one of thier grandfathers phalaris (b1913) who not only started both of the above sirelines but also started silver charms(buckpasser) sireline
to put in into perspective secretariat,nijinsky,cigar,sea the stars,dubai millienium,bold ruler,seattle slew,danehill,fappiano,riverma
n,sea bird, nearco, makybe diva......and many more champions of the turf descend directly from phalaris. techblitz1 2 years ago

Mr Prospector is the great grandfather on one side and the grandfather on the other side of my OTTB 4yr mare, DreamTrip.

Nicanor, the full brother of Barbaro, is being compared to Mr Propector...as far as looks. He really does look like him too. Obviously in his line. He was born in the wrong year, or else he probably would have had a better winning percentage. Forego and Secretariat in 1970, oh yeah and Shams.
What a sire.

Do you have anything of Danzig? I have had the priviledge to meet him twice at Claiborne, the latter being about 2 weeks before he died. I got to pat him that time, haha.

Hi. I posted a video about Danzig a while back called: "Danzig...What Might Have Been." Type it in and hit enter on my main page of videos. I think you'll really enjoy it.
Thanks for watching.

Ha. I have quite a few bottles to cash in, of the non-alcholic variety that is. Maybe that Saratoga trip is in the cards for me after all.
I'll keep the videos coming as long as I can.
Thanks for the laugh and have a great day!
