these g dec jr amps are great for people learning to improvise like me, the loops that each have their own key are great for learners like me, not only do they help me keep time which at the moment is a weakness and something i'm working on but they sound great too. ive had this 2 days and aren't regretting buying it at all. running an ibanez artcore through it and it sounds pretty good. nice effects too.

Is there reverb, distortion and other effects in this amp?
Great playing btw.

Nice, i'm doubting between the gdec jr and the champ 600 en the vibro champ, what should i do? Is the g-dec junior durable made, of good material and are the control panel and the input jack of the amp made of metal?

g dec junior is awesome very under rated wipes the floor with the 600 in my view i had a 600 swapped it for the g dec , on the hot rod 1 setting gain about 6 you can get some sweet blues tones . it;s a gem i just got a laney cub 10 for the full valve experience that fat warmth that valves provide but only for when the neighbours are out , the cub 10 is awesome at the price , like a blues junior if not better for at least half th e price . g dec junior perfect practice amp ,

Thank you.
The Fender Champ amps are nice, but tube amps are best played loud...for both overdrive and tone. "Solid State" amps are good for achieving similar tones, but at lower volumes. Plus, solid state amps are able to achieve "metal", "sludge" and "hard" tones.
Controls are metal and it's made of quality material.
A buddy of mine picked up a 15 Watt Fender Champ--used--at a garage sale for $15 or so. I recommend hitting up yard/garage sales for guitars, amps and other equipment too.
