This campaign served to reinforce Digicel's position as the best value mobile provider for the people of Haiti. With the existing '5 sou 5' campaign having been launched in January 2011 Digicel Haiti engaged Studio HMG Advertising to create a fresh, exciting, engaging approach to the campaign. The ultimate objective was convey that with Digicel your minutes/credit/top up lasts longer.
A big part of this campaign was creating scenarios of every day life and connecting them to Digicel; proving that Digicel is Haiti's Bigger, Better Network. By having one main "hero" talent appear throughout the series of commercials we created a value ambassador for Digicel who serves as the hook for the campaign. He appears in each scenario and educates the consumer on the individual offers as they are taken to this new world of value which exists with Digicel. We relate to the target audience by using humor and charisma in each video, making every day life "bigger and better".
