Cymbals mod for Rock Band drums

This is to demonstrate the functionality of a cymbals mod for Rock Band drum kits.
I do NOT claim to be any good at this game so I don't care what you have to say about this vid, it is simply to show how well the mod works.

um are the rockband 1 and 2 drums they same if not can u still use cymbols on the rockband 1 drums and i dont think its a mod i think its just an extension

u cannot use the cymbals on the rb1 set, they are most definately not the same! rb1 is sucks so much compared to the rb2 set. i have owned both. used my rb1 set until it broke. took about 1 month for it to brake. have had rb2 set for about 4 months now... still great condition, works same out of the box. i dont find it to drop notes but the rb1 set did. rb2 set considerably better. if u are to buy either dont even consider the rb1 set, its a waste of time.

The drum set I used in this video IS a RB1 drum set. Look at the date I made this. RB2 was not even announced yet.

@felixthecat1623 srry, i implied that you cant use the mad catz cymbal extension which is only playable with a rb2 set.

No they are not the same, BUT follow the guide in the info of this video and you can see how I turned the RB1 drum kit used in the video into a cymbals compatible drum kit long before RB2 came out.

@felixthecat1623 yeh i agree the rb2 official cymbals are horrible, annoyingly loud, no rebound on the bow whatsoever! thankfully the new cymbals they came out with for rb3 are fantastic for the price. they leaps and bounds better than the rb2 cymbals.

yeah i have the ion cymbals and trust me they suck :(
