PART 2 OF 3: Discussion among members of the CFSAC, as well as officials from the CDC, following the testimony of The CFIDS Association of America's President, Kim McCleary.
Following McCleary's initial testimony, she was asked to return to the microphone to participate in the discussion regarding her testimony about the CDC's lack of transparency, mismanagement, lack of meaningful innovation, etc. McCleary described the situation as follows: "the 'boom' of CFS research that occurred during the 'payback' phase from 1999-2005 has eroded to a 'bust' of shameful scientific leadership, zero accountability, invisible outcomes and millions and millions of dollars stuck in suspended animation, if not wasted."
