yes in breton we'd say; 1unan, 2daou, 3tri, 4pevar, 5pemp, 6c'hwec'h,7seiz,8eiz, 9nav,10dek

Sounds like a typical Ulster dialect pronunciation, which makes sense.

i remember my father God rest him teaching me to count in Irish

that's a strange accent

@DerBotoxPapst Fascinating how some sound the same and some are slightly off. The origins of languages (and how people forgot they were related) is an amazing concept.

I am just an amatuer at this but it does show the Indo-European language kinship here. For example using Irish first then the Greek words 1 aon/ena, 2 do/duo, 3 tri/trea, 4 ceathair/tessera, 6 se/exse, 7 seacht/epta, 8 ocht/ochto, 9 a naoi/enea, 10 deich/decca, 11 aon deag/endecca, 12 do dheag/do decca, 13 tre deag/decca tria, 14 ceathair deag/decca tessera, 16 se deag/ decca exse, 17 seacht deag/decca epta, 18 ocht deag/decca ochto. Very fascinating.

@MrLukecov lol your dum hahahaha you make a statement, you have no reliable sources, and there's a whole country speaking the language, honestly, and then you say its a fact? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Harry Potter moment? the last part (and 20) sounded like "Argus Filch."
