Law is/was supposed to protect us. Including protecting us from the government. Now laws are used to suppress us and to protect the government.

@rileyphillip Ok now I get it (you threw me off with the Footnote 4). The line of reasoning is : "It ain't over until the fat lady sings"; They have the might, but their objective is crude and below logical reasoning. They will pounce and we will feign injury. But in time, those who do think will win the day. Power, or "Might" is temporary when trying to win a pointless game. Supreme "might" is the ability to think past the game.

@crasshelmet If all we are is animals, then we have no rights. It's all survival of the fittest, might makes right. They're obviously not following the Constitution or natural law. You are the imbecile. What other explanation could possibly be used to justify the crimes against humanity? I hate it just as much as the next person. I'm just trying to follow their line of reasoning.

@rileyphillip " Might makes right"...OK. Then I suppose, in your thinking, killing little kids is "right"? It's people like you that give Americans a bad name. By the way, we are ALL animals. However, some of us are just a little less intelligent ,my simian friend. Good luck with the childhood trauma, or whatever the fuck it was that turned you into an Imbecile.

Wow... nice reporting! Who is not tired of lies and misinformation?

@crasshelmet The government does what it wants because it has the guns. Might makes right, just like in the animal kingdom. As a side note, did you know that the government has defined you as an animal in US Code?

@rileyphillip Perhaps if they planted a "footnote 4" on your face, you might feel differently.
Perhaps Mr Corbett should look up "Footnote 4". The government is to be given the benefit of doubt, assuming whatever it does is Constitutional.

@rileyphillip 1) The CIA's destruction of evidence and the President's citizen assassination list are inherently unconstitutional. 2) Footnote 4 applies benefit of the doubt to economic legislation and specifically contrasts that with legislation infringing personal liberties.
