Bongo is addicted to drugs at Blackmoor and Rita IS blonde, she was never known as 'The Big Red'

yes she was called Big Red by one of the inmates in her first episodes that she appeared in. i am racking my brain to remember who called her that....i will find it and let you know.

She may have been called that at one stage because 'Big Red' means 'A Big Kangaroo' in OZ so it was probably to do with how tall she was :) but wasn't anything to do with her having red hair :)

"Some small edits" - Some episodes have had severe cuts especially those that feature Edna Pearson. People tend to expect DVD releases nowadays to be uncut, as cuts however small tend to spoil a release. If companies like Shock want to release series they should at least do it properly. As for "poor quality master tapes", if they can turn black and white into colour.restore VHS footage into broadcast qualiry material then surly the master tapes could have been restored to an acceptable quality.
