  • Truegreatness73 - I don't know what Poynesian culture you've been studying but you are in need of more education. Rapa Nui and the Rongo Rongo occurred way after the West Polynesian cultures were well established. The oldest structure in Polynesia is the Pulemelei mounds found on the island of Savai'i, Samoa.

  • Mahalo for da awesome mana!

  • Call me immature, but I can't stop laughing at this.

  • I've never heard it before today, only read it in translation. For the scientist in us, you are in for a special treat if you read it with care. I only wonder what is lost in translation.

  • @jlsamoa I have been studying Polynesian history for a long time. How about you? Mainstream media lies about how Polynesians didnt have a writing system which is false. Ancient Rapa Nuiens that built those ancient Moai's had a writing system called RongoRongo which is also found in the Indus Valley. Now I just proved to you what you probably never heard. When you can name me a artifact older than that then you have a case but you dont. All Polynesian ancestors are related anyways, so why you mad?

  • @jlsamoa I am going by scientific facts here. What is the oldest artifact ever found in Samoa or Tonga? The oldest artifact in Easter Island is the RongoRongo which traces its roots to ancient Indus Valley scriptures. Indus Valley is one of the oldest civilizations ever documented and those same scriptures in the Indus Valley is also found in Rapa Nui. It is very possible the first Polynesians hit Easter Island and spread throughout the other islands. Thats from my own independent research.

  • and we are still going strong with all of our ancient dances, tribes, villages, languages and customs...unlike other Polynesian cultures LIKE Easter Island!!!

  • @TrueGreatness73 UHHHH...NOT EVEN!!!! Alu ai lou aikae!!!!...ever heard of SAMOANS?!...one of the two oldest Polynesian cultures ever to have been on the earth!!!....and Easter Island is NOT one of them!!!!...how can YOU throw in Easter Island to support your OPINION when Easter Island CAME FROM Polynesia?....dont go around saying things like "Ancient Polynesian culture has been erased" because it has NOT!!!...You'll offend other Polynesians, let alone, Samoans and/or Tongans!!!

  • Most ancient Polynesian culture has been erased. The oldest writings ever found was in Indus Valley in India. You can find those same exact ancient writings in Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Most information and history was purposely erased so we can be down graded and listen to the new teachings. Polynesians had our own writing system that Rapa Nui proves yet mainstream media wont tell you that. Polynesians had high technology and very advanced in ancient times. We also have pyramids & large statues

  • im tongan.but i love the traditional wayz of all our polynesian culture!
