The purpose of this video is to guide you through the technology and techniques behind creating
professional dance music.

While there have been numerous videos about this
specialist subject, the majority have been done by authors who have little or no experience of
the scene nor the music, but simply rely on educated guesswork.

With this video, I hope to
change the many misconceptions that abound and offer a real-world insight into the techniques
on how professional dance music is mastered,

  • DONT LET THE NOTEPAD STOP YOU FROM WATCHING THIS! This is a great video series. I felt like i was neo in the matrix with the notepad. I love the mispellings too, great work.

  • @antdefraia im sorry i dont have a microphone.

  • great video... helped my tracks big time... are u using wavelab 6?

  • @djmadmax101

    Yes!

  • Since you're such an expert on mastering, was a VO really that much trouble? Seriously, your voice can't be as annoying as reading a notepad-prompter. If this was an attempt at being clever. . .well, um, fail.

All this aside, nice tips in the video...

  • just amazing thank u

  • @tonyblack1981 Honestly, I was only giving a different way go think about it, but thank you kindly for your input.

  • @sPadeyVisual No. actually it is a logical error but we all know perfectly well what he meant, and there is no need to dwell on it. That said, -15 plus 10 equals -5. No formular neccersary

  • @Tumzzela Well, your comment came from a month ago, lol but I didn't see anyone answer you. Alright, so think of it like you're reading a VU meter. You're subtracting 10dB from -15.0dB so you count up from -15 and you receive -5dB.

You probably already figured out. Lol

  • @Redwanbeatz Did u get to know the math?...Im still wondering what kind of math this is..even how he came up with that formular

  • PLEASE HELP ME!

I'm using ableton live for producing music and my question is simple:

using comressors and EQs and limiters before using wavelab or in wavelab can i do all the mastering with the wavelab compressors etc..?or better using both mastering system?

  • Best tutorial on Youtube but painful to watch due to the notepad instructions.
