Of all the videos I've posted, these two represent the most common type of "typical day" at Willowhill during hot/humid summers. One could almost theme this clip as "A Day in the Life of..."
Anyway, this one is a two parter (because Google/YouTube
limits clips to ~10 min.)...
Aug 11 2002-Willowhill backyard Lawn Vegetable Gardening with Papa
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_ytlzuONPU
Here, I follow Papa around the vegetable garden, picking myriad veggies and fruits (remember: peppers and tomatoes are technically FRUITS because they contain/protect/nourish the seed!)
Aug 11 2002-pt2-Willowhill Lawn+ front-yard flora with Ammi
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO6CCk5CVqU
Here, Ammi continues the summer tour, concentrating on myriad
aesthetic+colorful flora she has nurtured. Her topical knowledge is almost encyclopedic. She must have taken Latin in college!
TIP for everyone:
These particular videos can serve as superb resume/CV nuggets. If you want to "show off" what you are horticulturally capable of, have prospective employers/clients turn on the (You)Tube, or one of the other photo pages. You could even use this material to convince banks to start you off with a healthy-sized small-business loan. E.g., your own flower shop, garden center, nursery, etc.
Just a thought...
