Classic bangers are some of the best to watch. Better to have them going out in a blaze of glory on the track and entertaining people as opposed to being stuck in some nerds shed doing nothing but collecting dust! This August bank holiday event was one of the best I have been to see so far!

it was going to close at the end of this year but Autospeed (the people who run St-day) offered to pay more for the plot of land it is situated on. The land is owened by the counsil and St-day pay rent

Hey Mark.. What kind of a car did "the Freeze" drive?? It looked like a late 50's early 60's type?
I noticed they destroyed a Chevy Belair wagon hearse.. Good video!!! Can't wait for the next one!! Cheers.. Eric F.

Hi Mark.. You don't know what model or year?? It looked cool, but really big for a English car..
I thought it was American made?! do you use a phone or camera when your taking video's??
Do these guys buy the cars they smash-up as new or used?? Just curious, I noticed allot of them are in really awesome shape.. I thought it was a mint to get a vehicle to the scrap yard, how can they afford to do this all the time if this is so??!! Cheers Eric F.

Hi Mark.. Yes I do see allot of older american cars, el-cominos, impalas, diplomats. Is there a special place I can go to see older videos of banger meetings, like 60's/70's?
Just curious..Where do they get the names on the sides of the cars? Are they driver names, nick-names?? Thank You for helping me understand this very interesting sport!!! Cheers Eric F.
