this was really silly but when tried it myself it gave me a sense of rhythm. i wasn't actually thinking that much about my left or my right hand. O_O

thank you Steve, easy baby steps help heaps. i'm dyslexic so i had to put the computer in front of a mirror to stop getting confused with left and right! both-right-left-both, that's really really helpful, now i can sit down and practice this until i can do it in my sleep!
