This video shows the WillaKenize winemaking team processing fruit on site. The fruit gets loaded into the hopper and onto a vibrating tables which helps to move the fruit along. Then it goes thru a "2nd sort" phase and then up the conveyor belt to the destemmer. The destemmer gently tumbles the grapes - separating the fruit from the stems. The stems come out into a bin while the fruit goes straight into the fermentation tanks. The stems will be sent to the compost pile.
