Thank you,

@sparkshot well, subscribe if not already and stay tuned in, I'll make some more vids on these this type of thing...and yes, I also believe in Yeshua
-
@seekerofyhwh - would take me ages to go trough them all if i'm honest. But most of what the new testaments seems to say.
-
@sparkshot what verses are you concerned about?
-
@seekerofyhwh - but it also seems to say if you have riches (anything you appreciate it seems) then your in the poo. I don't know.
-
@seekerofyhwh - In responce to your responce - I know! That's my point, but I'm having big trouble reconciling it with the words of Y'shua. i don't know if you believe in him or not but it almost seems like having anything nice or seeking anything that you want will doom you. I just don't get it and it's screwing me up, amongst other things.
Prosperity, riches, and wealth does not automatically mean MONEY.
In fact having money is a small thing compared to other blessings from God.

@preachinshawn it doesn't necessarily always mean money, it means blessings in every area of life. But it doesn't mean it can't be money as well. Solomon was the richest man to ever live, but also received wisdom, influence, peace, and many other blessings. Like it

@seekerofyhwh says in 3 John 1:2, God wants us to prosper even as our soul prospers, or prosper spiritually and even in other areas of life.

Yes but...the new testament seems to say if you are rich you will go hell. I know it might not say that, but it seems like it. I struggle with this and am actually scared of anything that i like or want. its pretty wank but i cant seem to reconcile this problem.

A foundational understanding is that God is a good God, that God is love, and the God wants to give you the desires of your heart as it says in His word. If God is love, then what good Father wouldn't want His children to enjoy some of His creation that He put here for us? To go on a hike, walk along a beach, etc. If it were wrong for God to bless people with riches, then He wouldn't have blessed Solomon to be the richest man to ever live when all he asked for was wisdom.
