Great review! I'm a V1 Zombie, but the redline looks impressive!

Can the Escort Redline maintain it's maximum effectivness if it's mounted high on the windshield (like the Valentine V1 can)?

@if6was929 Sure you can mount any detector high, but I don't recommend it. I recommend mounting your detector low as you will increase your chances of detecting laser and the few inches moving down will have no noticeable effect on radar

How good does this detector work when police forces around the country are installing scarecrows everywhere?
notakike 11 months ago
@notakike Ok, wtf is a scarecrow?
radarroy 11 months ago
@radarroy Scarecrows are miniature radar transmitters which simulate police radar broadcasts on various bands. These transmitters create false alarms on radar detectors in private vehicles, thereby indirectly reducing driving speeds to the legal limit.
Scarecrows have a range of more than one mile and are battery powered and charged by solar cells. The are DOT operated and can be switched on and off.

@notakike Thanks, been in this industry forever and never heard a drone referred to as a scarecrow
