Road Test: Hummer H3T

Laurence Tureaud starred on the iconic '80s television program The A-Team. Colloquially as Mr. T, he played the roll of B.A. Baracus, a crime-fighting ex-army commando. But even before he made it big in Hollywood, Mr. T worked as a bouncer and celebrity bodyguard where he earned himself a reputation for being tougher than rusty nails.

Possibly drawing inspiration from Mr. T, GM's Hummer division is launching an all-new truck, the H3T. Other than sharing an obvious consonant in their names, the Hummer H3T and Mr. T have at least one more characteristic in common, toughness. The H3T unites the go-anywhere ruggedness of the H3 SUV with the carry-anything capability of a Chevy pickup

Sure, other manufacturers build similar, half-breed trucks, but even the Ford Explorer Sport Trac lacks the off-road pedigree of this Hummer.

Did a hummer bite you guys at one time ??? I own 2 an h2 and h3t , I also owned 2 jeeps ,, problem was the jeeps were junk and always fell apart , my h2 has 175,ooo miles onit and I changed only tires and windshield , my h3t has 100,000 miles on it and hasn't given me a prob yet , my jeeps were built poorly and they were constantly inrepair , If you don't own a hummer then shut the fuck up as you know not of what you speak ,,,,, jealous you can't afford one ? fucking greenies

Trails as in Mountain climbing and such. But ptherwise,all three hummers can go offroad in mud's and stuff and again Hummer can go uphill to but its weight just kills it and it cant go for that long. Jeeps are amazing,their look sexy,less gas and everything.

I would say an H1 can go through a lot of mudholes in which a Jeep cant, because of the size. But overall, Jeep will destroy Hummer on trails

Jeeps and Hummers both. Hummer's are really strong but the weight kills it. Jeeps have a lower engine and everything but powerfull and can climb a much steeper hill or so. Hummers weight doesnt make it go so long but otherwise it can go throught alot of mud puddles and stuff,that better then the Jeep.
