  • So lets all go devote our lives to another book, THE BIBLE. A collection of stories that the church DECIDED are true and accurate. No proof for the Bible being true either. You just have to have faith....yeah right.

  • Same old same old--Christianity is an easy target because it teaches forgiveness, not retribution, even in the face of outright insult. Try writing a "Da Vinci Code" about the Islamic faith and see how brave the movie makers are to insult a group's beliefs--of course, the writer and filmmakers are cowards so that would never happen.

  • its just a freaking book I am christian but these people are stupid free speech you dumbass

  • I've just watched the movie, biggest load of bullshit I've ever seen! Long live the one true Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church!!!

  • Oddly enough when this happens we get "holy" people to personally testify that 100% of the ideas behind The Da Vinci Code is completely false. Personally I'm still looking for the right faith for myself but I find it very interesting that it is immediately disregarded. I suppose the Church in no day or age has ever done wrong through the power obtained by Jesus and his ONE word. I mean no disrespect to anyone and if i did offend anyone reading, then thank you. You further proved my point.

  • Yet when the "untouched new testament" (the name proves my point) is looked into by not devil worshipers but instead by historians, who simply want to know more about his world and the "well known" faith and fact behind Christianity.

  • Okay who here shuns the evolution of technology? I'm pretty positive that churches and religion pertaining to Christianity does not do this. They allow for cell phones to be built without a peep, they allow electricity and most of it's uses, along with most other technologies of today.

  • It was just a movie...I am a Christian but I dont believe this movie is true..come on...besides atheist dont believe in anything but some scientific bullshit and God didnt create us..How the hell did we exist??/believe what u want but I know God or someone created us

  • It's interesting that this movie portrays Catholics in such a way. I find it disrespectful and harmful to the church's purpose. The makers of the film say that it is based on historical facts, and the Catholics claim that their sacred text cannot be seen as a history book. What do you do with that?

  • If it isnt real why the church comes to pay attention to it?

  • @larryinfilm - pathetic cowards at that Larry...it is exactly for this reason, all the respect that I had for Western institutions growing up and its ideas like free speech, has utterly and totally disappeared. When i see the West cower to Muslims and attack Christianity without of course seeing the hypocrisy in such an act, i think of a large and great tree that chooses to burn its own roots bcos it felt they seemed to ugly, then wonders why its slowing rotting away!
