Thanks for the recommendation Roman! Catherine Delors' work (and style) brings to mind that of the great Jean Auel.
After watching your critique (on UTube) I couldn't wait to read Mistress of the Revolution. I was hooked immediately. The main character is one I truly enjoyed and grew to 'care' about. The storyline is fascinating, intelligent, and well researched.
Plus it was a treat to 'see' what YOU deem a great book! Thanks!

Hm! I just might buy this book...even though it sounds like a Lifetime marathon with all the beatings this gal takes.
