  • Autism is cool!

  • He's lucky. He's found out why he is the way he is. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 30. I was "trapped" until six months ago. But I think this kid will do okay. He has enough time ahead of him to work on his "life skills" so that he can enter the adult world with some confidence.

  • autism is cool

  • Some autstics are very smart they just dont know how to show it because of cummication diffculties I have aspergers and sometimes when i first meet people im really shy so its hard to make friends for me at frist and when ppl say to parents ure child is not autstic quit labeling them makes me mad cus what do they know they arent a doctor so quit telling if kids have autism or not cus the doctors know what they are talking about not youcus in annoying

  • He is smarter than a autist. I dont think he have autism, because for me, it looks that he just playing, but i dont know?

  • @twitchyjeff I agreed i posted here 3-4 months ago about people labeling this child as a psycho freak or someone who has an issue with big brother! and i stated exactly what u said hes into dr who and associates real life like the void or even earth to be exact being like hell etc. But i wasn't added here for what ever reason

  • Woah! He's just talking about Doctor Who don't be so quick to label! He's saying that he knows Doctor Who's not real but believes in aliens, and saying that God didn't save the daleks from going into the void; what's wrong with that?

  • Oh my gosh, he sounds exactly like my son. That's crazy b/c I've never been able to find another person on the spectrum with that kind of inflection to his words.

I don't know what it just strikes me as....I don't know a word for it....

  • You don't overcome it, as such. You learn coping strategies

  • Pff, no, not to the exclusion of any other mental phenotype.

  • If this kid doesn't write books I will be a sorely disappointed middle aged man in 20-something years.

  • You do. But the thing is. I am not really autistic. It's just how I was taught made me like that. Im a normal person.
