  • This is my first year beekeeping. I would give one of my toes just to follow you guys around for a week!

  • @magprob Labor rates $50/hr. If you watch, $75/hr. If you help, $100/hr. :-) For just a week, someone would just be in the way. You need to follow someone a whole season. That way you learn the results of little things you do now. My videos are the closest many people will get to following a serious beekeeper.

  • So that was a winter die out? You are fast. You could do a thousand of those a day I bet! :)

  • @magprob No, that was not a winter die out. That was an empty hive prepared for a package to be installed. It took a 4 man crew about 30 hours to install 600+ packages this spring, but that included drive time to 40+ yards, and getting stuck in the mud once.

  • Ha! Ha! Only a $100.00 an hour for a week? Well then book me for a month! :)

By the way, is that charged at a 40 hour week?

Seriously, your videos really are a great help. Please keep them comming. Hey, that gives me a great idea. How much to just hold the camera?
