    咁呢部車每年驗車會唔會有麻煩given this is a 柴油車?

  • Very interesting vehicle. I am curious if the shift pattern on your Cedric is the same as a standard H pattern in any other manual gearbox vehicle only mounted on the steering column.

Is first gear all the way forward and up, and then 2nd gear all the way forward and down? Thank you for the video! :)

  • @K31TH3R Thanks. Yes, it's that sort of pattern, except that first gear is engaged by pulling the shifter towards the driver and up, and second gear towards the driver and down, while fifth gear is all the way out away from the driver and upwards.

  • I have Toyota pickup here in UK with exactly same 5 speed manual column shift transmission . I also drive a company van , a Vauxhall Midi ( which is really rebadged Isuzu ) 2.4 diesel ( 1998 ) which has 5-speed column shift manual transmission . Column shift manual transmission is quite common here on Japanese vans and pickups and I believe it is still available as an option on many Japanese vans and pickups . I love it , I learned to drive on one of these on a Toyota pickup.

  • At least one can still write comments.

  • I love that steering wheel cover.
