No other bodybuilder in the history of the sport has made the same impact. Indeed, Arnold Schwarzenegger remains the greatest, and most influential, bodybuilder of all time in the eyes of many. In many ways, Arnold helped to change public attitudes toward a sport regarded as deviant and on the margins of what was acceptable social practice at the time.

  • People look at Steroids as the worst drug. i, and maybe many other bodybuilders look at it as a very effective, but dangerous supplement. People think supplements give you muscle. WRONG! Dedication, discipline and good nutrition is the thing that gives you muscle.

Yes, but that wasnt my point with my comment.

  • @vFighterHD Supplements help...no you're right, you can't just take them and gain muscle, but all together, they'll help.

  • @FightFairLoseEasy Don't get me wrong, I am a big Arnold fan and I try to think of Arnold quotes while training "When your body shakes and you can't do another rep it's the will that makes you go one more rep".. But the fact still remains Arnold did take steroids his entire career...he has never claimed that he didn't..and it's because of the steroids that Arnold could train that long..

  • @Krutselno With steroids without steroids Arnold would still train the most. U dont get what he is saying. its not the steroids that make u train its the mind.

  • He could train that long because he used steroids, normal people that don't use steroids shouldn't work out more than about an hour(depends on each person of course but about 1-1.5 hours) of hard weight lifting, after that your Cortisol levels starts to increase...and we DON'T want that..

  • man if you work more hard you get better results if you wanna make exercises you can doit only 1-2 hours but if u wanna "TRAINING" you need 4-5 hours..bodybuilding is not easy as many ppl think..steroids never gonna give you muscles if you dont train hard.

  • what year was it when he had the long hair?

  • @patrickhubek From personal experience, I find that short, fast paced workouts are more effective to myself then doing longer, more drawn out workouts. I don't flex in the mirror between every set like Arnold and other pro bodybuilders do, to me that's just a waste of time . I prefer I pushing myself as hard and fast as possible. Maybe this dosnt work for other people, but for me- it works.

  • @ThatRubyKid11 who you are? Do you have so many experiences like Arnold do? He is telling what he lived, you are telling what a muscle magazine said.

  • Damn that man is cool.
